Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- One (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup frozen or no-salt-added canned corn (optional), drained
- One (10-ounce) can tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
- Eight (1-ounce) bags corn chips
Instructions
- Cook ground beef or turkey and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until meat is browned and cooked through, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain excess fat, if needed.
- Add chili powder, cumin and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
- Stir in black beans, corn and diced tomatoes. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
- Gently crush chips in each bag, then carefully open the top of each bag.
- Spoon the warm taco mixture directly into each bag.
- Add toppings, as desired.
Notes
Change it Up!
- Make your own taco seasoning and use it in place of cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder.
