Michigan Blueberry Salad

Fresh blueberries, mixed salad greens, and almonds lightly dressed in poppy seed dressing.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head lettuce (romaine, red leaf, green leaf)
  • 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • 6 tablespoons poppy seed dressing

Instructions
 

  • Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place into a large bowl.
  • Add blueberries and almonds and mix gently.
  • Drizzle with dressing and lightly toss to coat. Serve.

Change it Up
Add color with carrot strips, shredded purple cabbage, fresh or dried fruit such as strawberries, oranges, apples, or raisins.
