Michigan Blueberry Salad

Fresh blueberries, mixed salad greens, and almonds lightly dressed in poppy seed dressing.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head lettuce (romaine, red leaf, green leaf)
  • 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • 6 tablespoons poppy seed dressing

Instructions
 

  • Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place into a large bowl.
  • Add blueberries and almonds and mix gently.
  • Drizzle with dressing and lightly toss to coat. Serve.

  • Add color with carrot strips, shredded purple cabbage, fresh or dried fruit such as strawberries, oranges, apples, or raisins.
