Crunchy Apple Salad

A creamy yogurt-based salad with juicy apples, plump raisins, celery, and a touch of cinnamon.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • ¼ cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
  • ½ cup celery, chopped
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon chopped nuts, any kind (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add apples, celery, raisins, yogurt, and cinnamon to a medium bowl. Mix well.
  • Add chopped nuts just before serving. Mix and serve, or chill before serving.

  • Use any other dried fruit you may have on hand, such as cranberries, blueberries, diced apricots, or dates.
Prep Tip
  • Out of cinnamon? Add pumpkin or apple pie spice mix instead.
