Asparagus and Black Bean Salad

An easy summer salad with asparagus and black beans dressed in a balsamic vinaigrette.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh baby asparagus
  • One (15-ounce) can black beans (reduced, low sodium, or no added salt), drained and rinsed
  • 6 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette

Instructions
 

  • Trim woody ends from asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces, and place into a large bowl.
  • Add black beans and vinaigrette to asparagus, mix gently to combine.
  • Serve immediately or chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.
