Strawberry Overnight Oats

Equipment

  • One 8-ounce sealable jar or container

Ingredients
  

  • cup old-fashioned or quick oats
  • ¼ cup low-fat milk
  • ¼ cup low-fat vanilla or strawberry Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds, or ground flax seeds, optional
  • 3-4 fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions
 

  • Place oats in an 8-ounce jar or container.
  • Add milk and stir well.
  • Add yogurt and chia or flax seeds, if using. Mix well.
  • Cover and chill in refrigerator overnight.
  • Add sliced strawberries before serving. Serve cold.

Notes

Change it Up
  • Try using blueberries, peaches, or other fruit of your choice.
  • Add chopped nuts in Step 3.
  • Make a double batch. Overnight oats will keep up to four days in the refrigerator.
