Equipment
- One 8-ounce sealable jar or container
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup old-fashioned or quick oats
- ¼ cup low-fat milk
- ¼ cup low-fat vanilla or strawberry Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds, or ground flax seeds, optional
- 3-4 fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Place oats in an 8-ounce jar or container.
- Add milk and stir well.
- Add yogurt and chia or flax seeds, if using. Mix well.
- Cover and chill in refrigerator overnight.
- Add sliced strawberries before serving. Serve cold.
Notes
Change it Up
- Try using blueberries, peaches, or other fruit of your choice.
- Add chopped nuts in Step 3.
- Make a double batch. Overnight oats will keep up to four days in the refrigerator.
