
Sweet, crunchy slaw with cabbage and pineapple. |
Ingredients
- 3 ½ cups or one (10-ounce) package raw green cabbage, shredded
- 3 ½ cups or one (10-ounce) package raw green cabbage, shredded
- One (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple in 100% juice, drained (reserve ¼ cup juice)
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- If not using prepared cabbage, wash cabbage, cut in half, remove core, shred or cut in very thin slices.
- Mix green and red cabbage, pineapple, and reserved juice in a large bowl.
- Add salt and pepper. Gently toss until well coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
