
Tender green beans sauteed with ripe tomatoes, garlic, bell pepper, and a hint of cayenne. |
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 small cloves garlic, chopped
- One (16-ounce) package cut green beans, frozen (or fresh)
- 1 cup red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
- ½ cup celery, chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Heat oil in large skillet over low heat.
- Sauté garlic in oil for 1 minute.
- Add green beans and bell peppers; increase heat to medium and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes. Serve hot.
