fresh asparagus,
trimmed

cup
cheddar cheese,
shredded

tablespoon
vegetable oil.
or corn/canola oil

teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Unroll crescent dough and separate along perforated lines into 8 triangles.
Place 2-4 asparagus spears on the bottom corner of each triangle.
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of cheese over each triangle.
Roll crescent dough from the bottom corner to make 8 triangles.
Place bundles on ungreased cookie sheet.
Brush oil over exposed asparagus tips and sprinkle with salt.
Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
Serve warm.
