Ingredients
  

  • 1 can refrigerated low-fat crescent rolls
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. or corn/canola oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • Unroll crescent dough and separate along perforated lines into 8 triangles.
  • Place 2-4 asparagus spears on the bottom corner of each triangle.
  • Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of cheese over each triangle.
  • Roll crescent dough from the bottom corner to make 8 triangles.
  • Place bundles on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Brush oil over exposed asparagus tips and sprinkle with salt.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
  • Serve warm.
