water packed tuna,
strained

red onion,
chopped

apple,
cored and chopped

celery,

golden raisins

fat-free or low-fat Italian dressing,
divided

salad greens

whole-wheat pita pockets
Instructions
Stir tuna, onion, apple, celery, raisins, and 2 tablespoons of dressing together in a medium bowl.
In another bowl, toss salad greens with remaining 1 tablespoon dressing.
Cut pitas in half to make 4 pita pockets.
Carefully fill pita pockets with equal amounts of tuna mixture and salad greens. Enjoy!
Notes
Prep Tip:
Prepare apples just before mixing to keep them from browning.
Regular raisins can be used in place of golden raisins, or you can skip them.
Change It Up:
Salad greens like dark red or green leaf lettuce provide vitamins, minerals and fiber. Try them rather than lighter colored lettuce like iceberg.
