1bagbaby carrots (or 2 cups carrots, sliced),or one (15.5-ounce) can carrots, drained and rinsed
2teaspoonslemon juice
1 ½tablespoonslight butter
2teaspoonsmaple syrup
¼teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Place carrots and 2 tablespoons of water in a microwave-safe dish. Cover and cook on high for 3 to 6 minutes, or until tender. Drain. If using canned carrots, cook until heated through, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Add butter, lemon juice, maple syrup, and salt. Stir until well coated and butter is melted.
