avocado

cup
green peas,
fresh or frozen, cooked according to package directions and cooled

tablespoons
lime juice or 1 medium lime,
juiced
¼
teaspoon
kosher salt
1
clove
garlic ,
minced or 1 teaspoon chopped jarred garlic, or ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
Cut avocado in half lengthwise, turn to cut around pit, twist open, and discard pit.
Score or cut avocado into cubes in without removing from skin.
Remove flesh with a spoon and place with remaining ingredients in a blender, food processor, or mixing bowl.
Blend, pulse, or mash with a fork until combined but chunky.
Taste and adjust seasonings as desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Change it Up
Add ½ of a seeded and diced
jalapeño
for extra flavor and heat.
Top with fresh cilantro and a dollop of Greek yogurt.
Prep Tip:
Use avocados that are slightly soft to the touch.
