Fill a large pot half full with water. Place green beans in the pot and bring to boil. Cook green beans until just tender, about 8 to10 minutes. Drain.
Whisk olive oil, sesame oil, garlic, soy sauce and black pepper in a large bowl.
Add green beans to the bowl and mix until well coated with dressing.
Marinate beans in dressing for at least 30 minutes, tossing every 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds, if desired.
Serve at room temperature or refrigerate and serve as a cold side dish or salad.
