carrots,
peeled and cut into ¼ to ½-inch sticks

teaspoons
olive oil or cooking oil

teaspoon
kosher salt

pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Add carrots and oil to a small bowl. Mix until carrots are well coated.
Arrange carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Roast in the oven until carrots begin to soften and brown, about 5-10 minutes. Flip the carrots over and cook 5-10 minutes more.
Remove from oven and serve hot.
Notes
Change it Up
Add spices, such as dried dill weed, garlic powder, or za’atar.
