plain nonfat yogurt

sugar or honey*

or 4 medium apples, any kind,
cored and chopped

(11-ounce) can
mandarin oranges,
drained

celery ribs,
chopped

cup
dry roasted peanuts,
chopped, optional
Instructions
Combine the yogurt and sugar or honey in a serving bowl.
Add the apples, mandarin oranges, celery, and peanuts, if using. Mix gently.
Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to two days.
Notes
*Avoid giving honey to infants under 1 year of age.
Change it Up
Use any flavored nonfat yogurt instead of plain. Omit sugar.
Add raisins, chopped dates, or dried cranberries.
Omit sugar. Add 1 pound cooked chicken, chopped, and 3 teaspoons dried dill. Serve as a sandwich or wrap.
