Ingredients
- 4 small (6- to 7-inch) whole-grain tortillas
- ½ cup shredded reduced-fat cheese
- ¼ cup bean dip or hummus
- 1 ½ cups veggies (carrots, lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, and bell peppers), washed and chopped
- ¼ cup salsa
Instructions
- Wash hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap. Have children wash their hands too.
- Put each type of veggie on a plate or in a serving bowl with a spoon for serving.
- Give each child a tortilla and a butter knife for spreading the bean dip or hummus.
- Let children create their own vegetable roll-up by spreading a thin layer of bean dip or hummus on the tortilla and then topping it with chopped vegetables, salsa and shredded cheese.
- Show children how to roll up the tortilla.

Change it Up
