Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated low-fat crescent rolls
- 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. or corn/canola oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate along perforated lines into 8 triangles.
- Place 2-4 asparagus spears on the bottom corner of each triangle.
- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of cheese over each triangle.
- Roll crescent dough from the bottom corner to make 8 triangles.
- Place bundles on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Brush oil over exposed asparagus tips and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
- Serve warm.
