Tomato Melts

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large tomatoes, cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat vinaigrette dressing
  • 2 teaspoons salt-free herb blend
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated or shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Italian-style breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

  • Set oven to broil.
  • Place tomatoes on a broiler pan and drizzle with vinaigrette. Sprinkle with seasoning blend.
  • Combine cheese and breadcrumbs and sprinkle over tomatoes.
  • Broil 3-5 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve.

Notes

Prep Tip
  • If  you don't have Italian-style breadcrumbs use plain bread crumbs seasoned with Italian seasoning or a little basil and/or oregano.
Change it Up 
  • Skip the breadcrumbs and top with shredded cheese and spices.
