Ingredients
- 2 large tomatoes, cut in half
- 2 tablespoons low-fat vinaigrette dressing
- 2 teaspoons salt-free herb blend
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated or shredded
- 2 tablespoons Italian-style breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Set oven to broil.
- Place tomatoes on a broiler pan and drizzle with vinaigrette. Sprinkle with seasoning blend.
- Combine cheese and breadcrumbs and sprinkle over tomatoes.
- Broil 3-5 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve.
Notes
Prep Tip
If you don't have Italian-style breadcrumbs use plain bread crumbs seasoned with Italian seasoning or a little basil and/or oregano.
Change it Up
Skip the breadcrumbs and top with shredded cheese and spices.
