
Purple cabbage and garlic stir-fried in an Asian-inspired sauce. |
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 head purple or green cabbage, sliced into strips
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar, or apple cider vinegar
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook until tender.
- Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in cabbage and cook until it is just starting to soften.
- Add soy sauce and vinegar and cook until cabbage has just softened.
- Remove from heat and salt, if desired. Serve.
Notes
Change it Up
Try using red cabbage or both red and green cabbage.
