Tender chicken breast and edamame stir-fried in a sweet and tangy honey-garlic sauce. |
Ingredients
- 3 chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 6 cloves garlic, crushed
- ⅓ cup honey*
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lower-sodium soy sauce
- One (8-ounce) bag frozen shelled edamame
Instructions
- Season chicken strips with garlic powder.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add seasoned chicken to a large skillet and sear on both sides, until golden brown.
- Turn heat down to medium and stir in crushed garlic cloves, honey, water, vinegar and soy sauce.
- Add frozen shelled edamame. Cook for another 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over rice.

*Avoid giving honey to children under the age of one.
