Easy Honey Garlic Chicken with Edamame

Tender chicken breast and edamame stir-fried in a sweet and tangy honey-garlic sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • cup honey*
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lower-sodium soy sauce
  • One (8-ounce) bag frozen shelled edamame

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken strips with garlic powder.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add seasoned chicken to a large skillet and sear on both sides, until golden brown.
  • Turn heat down to medium and stir in crushed garlic cloves, honey, water, vinegar and soy sauce.
  • Add frozen shelled edamame. Cook for another 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve over rice.

Notes

*Avoid giving honey to children under the age of one.
