A healthy and fun frozen treat with bananas and yogurt, topped with your choice of cereal or chopped nuts. |
Equipment
- Cookie sheet
- Wax paper
- 4 popsicle sticks (or wooden sticks with round edges)
Ingredients
- 2 medium bananas, peeled and cut in half
- 1 container low-fat or nonfat yogurt, any flavor
- 2 cups toasted oat cereal (or chopped nuts)
Instructions
- Line cookie sheet with wax paper.
- Insert one popsicle stick into cut end of each banana.
- Dip or roll bananas in yogurt. Sprinkle bananas with cereal (or nuts) and place on cookie sheet.
- Put cookie sheet in freezer and freeze bananas for 1 hour, or until firm.
- Serve frozen or cover and store in freezer.
