
A fun fall frozen treat made with cider. |
Equipment
- 12 small plastic cups
- 12 food safe craft or popsicle sticks
- Foil
Ingredients
- ½ gallon pasteurized cider
Instructions
- Pour four ounces of cider into each cup.
- Cover each cup with foil.
- With a sharp knife, poke a hole in the foil and insert the stick so it stands up straight.
- Freeze on a tray in the freezer.
- To eat, take the cidersicles out of the freezer. Let stand for a few minutes at room temperature so the cup releases from the frozen cider.

Nutrition tip
- Fruit juice is healthy for kids in small portions; up to six ounces per day. Cider is 100% juice and does not contain added sugar.
- Shake the cider well before pouring.
- Use any kind of 100% juice you like such as pineapple juice, orange juice or a mix of juices.
