Easy Kale Chips

Fresh kale lightly dressed with salt and olive oil, and baked until crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch kale, (about 5 large stalks)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250 F.
  • Thoroughly rinse kale. Remove and discard ribs and stems.
  • Tear leaves into large bite-sized pieces. Pat dry.
  • Massage kale gently with olive oil until all leaves are shiny.
  • Sprinkle kale with salt.
  • Spread leaves in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Flip leaves over and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until kale is crisp but not brown or burned.

Change it Up
  • Experiment with different seasonings like lemon pepper,  onion salt and dill, garlic salt and pepper, or Montreal steak seasoning.
  • After the first 10 minutes of baking, lightly sprinkle a ¼  of
