turkey drippings
(fat and juices from roasted turkey)

cup
all-purpose flour

cups
turkey or chicken stock
1
clove
garlic,
minced or ½ teaspoon garlic powder
1
teaspoon
dried herbs,
such as rosemary, sage, or thyme or 1 ½ teaspoon of all three
¼
teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
black pepper
Instructions
Pour liquid drippings from the roasting pan into a measuring cup or bowl.
Put ¼ cup of the drippings in a small pot on the stove over medium-low heat. Stir in flour and fresh garlic, if using.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth.
Stir in stock and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until gravy reaches desired consistency.
Add salt, pepper, and dried seasonings to your taste.
