vegetable oil

salt

brown sugar

fresh mint leaves,
cut into strips
Instructions
String snow peas by snapping at the top and pulling top toward the opposite end. Place peas in colander and rinse under cold water.
Add water to a large pot and bring to a boil. Add peas and boil for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain.
Add oil, salt, and pepper to a saucepan. Add drained peas. Cook on stove over low heat. Stir with spoon.
Sprinkle brown sugar over peas. Add mint and stir until peas are well coated. Serve.
