Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 F.
Spray a 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray and place crust on top.
Spread a thin layer of pesto over crust.
Top with mozzarella cheese, then tomatoes. Add basil last.
Bake until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy, about 10-20 minutes.
Notes
Try This
Add more veggies such as diced onion, peppers, or black olives.
Try other topping combinations that go well with pesto like mushrooms and spinach, zucchini and provolone, or artichoke hearts and olives.
Change it Up!
Substitute pizza sauce for the pesto.
Cheese sticks can be used in place of shredded mozzarella. Use four sticks, thinly sliced.
Use
½ teaspoon of Italian seasoning in place of fresh basil.
Spice it up with a dash of red pepper flakes or a pizza-flavored spice blend.
